PHOTOGRAPHY BY PETERBOROUGH PHOTO SHOOTS WOOD AND STONE

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Yesterday I had the chance to photograph some art for John Keith who is the founder of Sculptures In Stone And Wood.

John is using these images that he carved by hand to be entered into a contest to be part of the artists tour.

Thanks John for choosing Josh Resar- Photography by Peterborough Photo to photograph your art work. You truly have a talent with your work.

OFF CAMERA FLASH VS ON CAMERA FLASH

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

What seperates moderate photographers from kick butt photographers?

One example is the ability to shoot with off camera flash and control the light, rather then the light controling you.

I hate those portrait style photos with a flash on the top of a camera, the lighting is so boring.

Here is a sample of a photo taken with a flash on camera, and then another photo taken with 3 flashes off camera placed in different areas around the subject.

Peterborough Petes team photo

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Yesterday I had the chance to photograph the minor midget Petes.

I have been doing this for Wayne for a number of years now. Wayne is the head coach, and is excellent at his job. I had the chance of playing for Wayne and it was the best time I ever had. These young men are very fortunate to be able to play for him.

I also had the chance to photograph Wayne and Julie’s wedding this past summer.

Thanks to Wayne and the minor midget Petes for allowing Josh Resar- Photography by Peterborough Photo to photograph your team.
